In the coming weeks Headwaters Livestock Auction will officially be under new ownership and management. Cassidy Brunner, Daryn Cederberg and Jon Kamps have partnered to form Wheatland Livestock LLC. and become the newest stewards of Headwaters Livestock Auction.
Upon acquiring Headwaters Livestock Auction in 2023, the late Brandon Blackstock had a dream to build something that would serve the ranching families of our region for generations to come. His vision was simple but meaningful: to provide a place for community to gather and a dependable, supportive market that recognized the hard work and legacies of local ranching families.
After Brandon’s passing in late 2025, the team he put in place remained committed to carrying that vision forward. Over the last year, it has been my privilege to continue working alongside the team he hand-selected to ensure that the future of Headwaters Livestock Auction will be bright.
With decades of combined experience in the livestock industry, the new management team at Headwaters Livestock Auction is committed to building on the strong foundation that’s been established while continuing to serve our customers and community with integrity.
As we mark this new chapter, I want to thank everyone who has supported us through this journey. Your kindness, encouragement, loyalty and trust have meant more than words can express.
